A Delhi court on Tuesday convicted nine people in the 2020 Delhi riots case. The court said that the allegations made by the police on the accused are correct. The accused were part of an uncontrolled mob. The purpose of which was to harm the assets of the Hindu community. The case is of riots, arson and sabotage in Gokulpuri area.
The court said that the police were constantly asking the accused to back down. Even after this, the accused continued the ruckus. At present, the court has directed to send all the convicts to judicial custody. Also, both sides have been given time till March 29 to file an affidavit.
The court convicted these accused. Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Emperor , Azad, Ashraf Ali, Parvez, Mohammad verdict and Rashid have been convicted in cases like riot, theft, arson.
