The 34th Dak National Hockey Tournament in Bhopal will start from today. To participate in this, more than 125 hundred players of MP-UP Sasmeet have come to Bhopal. Former Indian hockey team player and goalkeeper Mir Ranjan Negi will be present at the inauguration ceremony. Two league matches will be played on the first day. The first match will be between Madhya Pradesh-Tamilanadu and the second match between Karnataka-Odisha. The final match will be held on 17 March. The postal department is conducting this tournament.
Postal Madhya Pradesh Circle Director Pawan Dalmia said that in addition to Madhya Pradesh, a total of six postal circles including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha and Punjab will participate in the tournament. The tournament will be played at Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium located at Link Road No-1. The tournament will begin at 11:30 in the morning.
