The Central Government has provided high level armed VIP security to the newly elected BJP President Nitin Naveen. Officials said on Tuesday that the CRPF will provide Z-category security to Naveen. Officials said that a few weeks ago the Home Ministry had instructed CRPF to handle the security of Nitin Naveen.

Illegal egg donation and surrogacy racket has been busted in Mumbai. Immigration officials arrested Sunoti Belel and Seema Vinjarat at the international airport. This racket operated from Thane, where unmarried women were made to donate eggs by pretending to be married with fake documents. Belel and Sangeeta Bagul ran the absconding 'Elite Care' agency. Vinjarat had sold eggs several times in India and abroad.
