Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. The Special Staff of the Eastern District has arrested three miscreants who killed a youth and injured two people with a knife for robbery at different places in the Eastern District. The miscreants had committed both the crimes within two hours.
Information received on Wednesday night
The miscreants have been identified as Ansh alias King, Vipin, resident of Kalyanpuri and Sahil, resident of Trilokpuri. Two looted mobile phones and knives have been recovered from them. District Police Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Dhania said that on Wednesday night at 9.30 the police received information that a young man had been stabbed near the Utsav Ground in Patparganj.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Mohit Sharma, resident of Ghazipur village, was found in injured condition. He told that he was returning to his home from duty. On the way, three miscreants surrounded them and started looting. When they protested, they stabbed them with knives and stole their mobile phones. The injured was admitted to LBS hospital.
Young man's body found soaked in blood
Patparganj Industrial Police Station registered a case. The next day at eight in the morning, information was received that the body of a young man was lying in a blood soaked condition in Sanjay Lake. He was identified as Vikram, resident of Shashi Garden. His mobile was missing. It was revealed that Vikram's friend Akil had also been stabbed with a knife. He is admitted in LBS Hospital.
Pandav Nagar police station registered a case in this regard. Under the leadership of Special Staff in-charge Jitendra Malik, a team of SI Gaurav and Aman was formed. During investigation, the police found out that both the incidents were committed by miscreants of the same gang. The staff interrogated Akil.
He told the police that he was sitting in the lake with his friend. Then three miscreants came and started looting. Both of them started running to save their lives. Akil was stabbed in the thigh, while his friend was stabbed in the stomach. Akil ran away in injured condition.
CCTV was traced and the miscreants were caught.
The police examined the footage of cameras installed around the lake. Created a route using the footage. After scanning the footage of the cameras installed on the highway, the police reached the Telco point. During this, the police identified the miscreants from the footage. All three were arrested from Trilokpuri and Kalyanpuri. The accused told that after the incident in the lake, they went to Patparganj industrial area via NH-9 and committed robbery there also.
Wanted to become the king of the world of crime
The accused told the police during interrogation that cases were already registered against Ansh alias King under several sections including robbery. Along with his associates, he commits robbery and other crimes. He commits criminal acts in his desire to become the king of the criminal world. That is why he has named himself King. He also told his colleagues to call him King and not Ansh.
