State Bureau, Patna. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has increased the pace of investigation in the NEET student death case. According to sources, after recording the statements of the brother and maternal uncle of the deceased student, the agency is now closely assessing the similarities and differences in the statements of both.

The investigating officers are trying to find out what facts have been revealed in whose statements regarding the circumstances before and after the incident and whether there is any contradiction in them.

In this series, statements of the concerned police officials of Kadamkuan and Chitragupt Nagar police stations of Patna were also recorded, which are also being assessed. The agency is investigating what steps were taken by the police at the local level in the initial investigation and which points were recorded. The statements of the police officers are being matched with the statements of the family members and the available documents.

According to the information, after interrogating the maternal uncle of the deceased, the CBI team reached Gaya on Friday, where the maternal aunt was also asked many important questions. Detailed information has been taken from the family members about the background of the incident, the mental condition of the student, exam related pressure and the circumstances on the day of the incident.

CBI is analyzing all the statements, call details and other evidence collected so far. The objective of the investigating agency is to clarify the circumstances under which the student died and whether any kind of negligence or pressure played a role in it.

NEET student's relative installed CCTV at home

Communication Assistant, Ratni Faridpur (Jehanabad). After the suspicious death of the NEET student, the relatives are living in constant fear. Frightened by the continuous threats, the relatives spent around Rs 30,000 on Friday and got CCTV installed in the house.

The incident of death of NEET student happened about one and a half month ago. Earlier this incident was being investigated by SIT. On the initiative of the government, this incident is now being investigated by the CBI.

Here, within five days of a week, the family has received threatening letters twice. According to the relatives, a pamphlet was found kept on the kitchen window, in which the entire family was threatened to be killed.

The administration has registered an FIR against unknown people in the matter. In view of security, one SI, two home guards and a watchman have been deployed at the house for the last 15 days.
