Punjab Education Minister Bains will marry this month: Punjab cadre will marry IPS officer Jyoti Yadav, function in Anandpur Sahib
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains is going to tie the knot. Bains Punjab cadre is going to marry the IPS officer Dr. Jyoti Yadav. According to sources, they are getting married with the consent of both families. Both can marry at a plain ceremony at Anandpur Sahib on 25 and 26 March this month. Its preparations have started.
Dr. Jyoti Yadav, who is going to be the bride of Harjot Bains, is a 2019 batch officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS). His family lives in Gurugram. Jyoti Yadav, who was an AdCP in Ludhiana, is currently posted as SP Headquarter in Mansa. Harjot Singh Bains is an MLA from Anandpur Sahib seat in Ropar district. He is handling the education department in the current Bhagwant Maan government of Punjab. Prior to this, he has also been a jail minister.
Earlier in Punjab, many MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann have performed marriages within a year. Apart from Bhagwant Mann, the list of AAP MLA, who married AAP MLA, includes the names of Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharj and Ferozepur MLA Ranveer Singh Bhullar. Now the name of Harjot Bains is also going to be added to this list.

31 -year -old Harjot Singh Bains Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Executive Member Are. He has also been the former chief spokesperson of the AAP Punjab unit. Bains defeated Rana KP Singh, a speaker of the Punjab Assembly in the last year’s election by 45,780 votes. Bains, a lawyer by profession, has a B.A. LLB (Honors). In 2017, Bains contested the assembly elections from Sahnewal seat in Ludhiana district but then lost. In the 2022 election, AAP fielded him from Anandpur Sahib seat in Ropar district.
There will be many political personalities. The wedding of education minister Harjot Bains will be involved in many political personalities. In this, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal is expected to arrive with the entire family. Bains has been close to former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Sisodia herself is currently in jail but his family may come to Bains’ wedding. Apart from this, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, many other ministers of Delhi and Punjab will also reach their wedding. Ropar district administration has started making arrangements related to security.
