PTI, New Delhi. Google and Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai said on Friday that the partnership between America and India is important to bring the benefits of AI to everyone and everywhere.

Addressing the AI ​​Summit organized before the signing of the Pax Silica declaration by India and the US, he said that this agreement, along with the recently signed interim trade agreement, will lay the foundation for a strong US-Indian technology partnership for many years to come. Pax aims to create a strong supply chain for silica, critical minerals and AI.

Pichai said, “Yesterday I said that we are on the threshold of an era of rapid progress and new discoveries, but the best results are not guaranteed. We must work together to ensure that the benefits of AI are available to everyone, everywhere.”

Google is proud to serve as a connecting point between the two countries, whether symbolically or physically. He said, “We have teams in both countries who are working on some of our most important initiatives.”

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said biological systems act like data centers, analyzing information with much less energy than AI systems running gigawatts of electricity.

He said that AI can learn a lot from biology such as how to work with less energy, how to work faster and how to analyze different types of data quickly.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said that AI can accelerate the science of repair and reconstruction of damaged tissues and organs. This will help in moving health services away from a hospital-centric model towards predictive and preventive community care.

Britain's Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy on Friday stressed the importance of making AI safe, inclusive and equitable for all.
