Municipal Corporation has resolved 87 complaints in 48 hours

87 complaints were resolved by the Municipal Corporation. In which 23 complaints related to sewer cleaning, 5 related to drinking water, 34 related to road light, 14 related to cleanliness, 3 related to animal department, 8 complaints related to General Engineering Department were resolved. The remaining 18 complaints were related to the sewer cleaning and the road light. Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma has directed all the officials to dispose of all the complaints at a quick speed and the officer should go to the field and monitor the work going on. Varanasi Municipal Corporation is doing the work of cleaning 101.06 km drains of the city on a war footing. According to the officials, the work of cleaning 54.65 km drains was completed, in which 20440 tonnes of silt debris was taken out. The municipal corporation is using a fascin machine and placenta machine for cleaning the drain, so that cleaning of drains and silt can be lifted at high speed. Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma said that we have set the target till June 30, before that we will clean the city’s 100 percent drains, for this, the officers have been deployed to monitor the field.
