9 crore 66 lakh bills outstanding on 4351 farmers of Ayodhya: SDO said- farmers who register by June 30 will get benefit

Those farmers will get the benefit of the electricity bill waiver scheme of private tube wells of farmers in Ayodhya. The farmers whose bill will be deposited by 31 March 2023. To take advantage of the scheme, farmers will also have to do KYC of their electricity bill.

SDO Milkipur Amit Kumar Singh said that the state government gave relief to farmers on electricity bills under the Kisan Mukt Bijli Yojana. For irrigation, it has been decided to give 100 percent discount on the power force of the combination holders of LMV-5 mode in consumers. Under this scheme, 100 percent free electricity provides for farmers from April 1 to 2023. Under the scheme, it is mandatory to complete KYC on the power combination of private tube well consumers. To take advantage of the scheme, consumers will also have to give details of other power combination domestic-commerce etc. The benefit will be given only to those farmers who will deposit electricity dues till 31 March 2023. Consumers whose electricity bill is not yet deposited, can take advantage of the scheme by registering by 30 June 2024. Registration will also be provided with exemption in surcharge in the electricity bill.

Subdivision Officer said that there are 4351 farmers consumers in Milkipur area, which is dues of 9 crore 66 lakhs. So far, 429 farmers have deposited 1 crore 12 lakhs taking advantage of this.
