Indore MP and Airport Advisory Committee Chairman Shankar Lalwani said that Indore Airport is being prepared at the next 25 years. Land is needed to increase the runway, for which the state will talk to the government and start work as soon as possible. The airport management says that the work of the new terminal will begin only after the Fire Station and ATC building is removed. It may take three to four months. The new terminal will be two storeys like the current terminal operating at the airport. After the creation of a new terminal, Indore Airport will have a capacity of 1400 passengers per hour.
