Action will be taken if negligence in distribution of food grains: DM

Under the National Food Security Act, Patna district has distributed 92.43 percent in May and 77.27 percent food grains in May. During the review on Thursday, DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh said that the PDS shop, who was negligent in the lifting and distribution of food grains

He regularly inspecting the public distribution system shops to the concerned officials, the time limit to the beneficiaries. Instructed to provide food grains inside, constantly monitoring all SDO supply related matters. The number of dealers in the district is 2895. The achievement of Aadhaar seeding is 95.44 percent. It has been about 70 percent in e-KYC beneficial verification.

At the same time, 2,30,133 migrant workers have been executed ration card applications. DM directed to execute the remaining 23,958 applications immediately. The number of public distribution shops in the district is 2,541. In this, 595 shops were inspected in June. Irregularity was found in 12 shops. Explanation has been sought from them. At the same time, 8 SFC warehouses were examined. The DM has directed the officials to take regular raids and take action.

77.35 percent rice reached the warehouse

1,81,391 MT paddy was procured till 15 February in the district. This will prepare 1,24,579 MT rice. So far, SFC has received 96,359 MT rice, which is 77.35 percent. Instructed to deposit 100 percent rice by 31 July.
