The general board meeting of Darbhanga Municipal Corporation is going to be held today after a long wait of about six months. The meeting is expected to be uproar. The board should have a meeting per month. So that members can raise the problems of their wards. Despite the approval of the construction of the road in many locality including Madarpur, Balabhadrapur in the city, work has not yet started. In places like Madarpur, Bengali Tola, Balabhadrapur etc. of the city, the sewer is dilapidated along the road.

This proposal should have been brought in the general meeting of the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner or in the meeting of the Strong Permanent Committee. But did not come. 30 to 40 thousand families are being affected due to tax increase.
