Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a candidate from Varanasi in the Lok Sabha elections and was elected MP after the result on June 4. During the election results, a user posted objectionable posts on social media. In this, he commented by putting a photo of PM and EVM.

The user raised many questions on the EVM machine titled ‘Narendra Modi a big miracle in Varanasi’. The Election Commission described the baseless and false propaganda from the misleading post as extremely objectionable by the Election Commission. The Commission called it a legal offense against a constitutional institution against a constitutional institution as a legal offense against the Lok Sabha General Electoral 2024.
