Campaign started to free transit land encroach

The district administration has started a campaign to remove illegal occupation from transit land in the district. On Friday, illegal occupation was removed from transiting land in Gram Panchayat Maughat. Tehsildar Govind Singh Thakur reached the spot along with the revenue staff, police force and the JCB machine

Tehsildar said that the sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Maughat had lodged a complaint of illegal occupation of the transit land. Apart from this, BJP District President Amit Nuna had also submitted a letter regarding the removal of illegal possession from the transit land of the gram panchayats.

Due to complaint, people inspected the transit land in Gram Panchayat Mau Ghat a day earlier. Illegal occupation was identified. Today, illegal possession has been removed from the JCB machine by reaching the spot along with RI, Patwari and police force. He said that about a dozen people had encroached on the transit land.

The people concerned have been instructed not to take illegal occupation by removing encroachments from the JCB machine. He informed that instructions have been issued to the Panchayat Sarpanch and Secretary to organize the destitute and sick cow dynasty roaming on the road. On this occasion, Patwari Rahul Tiwari, Ravi Garg and officials of Revenue Department were present.
