In Khargone district with the state, on June 19, on World Sickalsel Day, a campaign will be conducted at the panchayat level in the tribal area. The sarpanch will be honored in the gram panchayat where 100% patients will be screened. On Monday, collector in -charge Akash Singh has asked for the coordination of departments for the health camp. CMHO Dr. MS Sisodia informed that a total of 4 lakh 38 thousand 188 screens have been done in the district. There are 1455 sicklesale patients. While 5850 carriers have been marked. People up to the age of 40 will be investigated. Students living in hostels in the tribal area will also be investigated.

These facilities will be available in the camp, General Medicine, Orthopidician, Pediatricians, Counselor will also be present in the health camp to be held at the panchayat level in the tribal area. Consulting the identified patients will also be required, medicine (hydroxy urea and folic acid), genetic counseling card, distribution of follow -up cards and allocation of disability certificate. Online desk of telecasting will be prepared and patients will be credited. The drug hydroxy urea will be available.
