Construction work in the final stage, questions arose on quality

Construction of Piku being constructed near the Civil Surgeon Office has reached the final stage. But questions have started to arise about its quality. Its pole was exposed in the rain. At the same time, it was said to complete it sometimes in March and sometimes in April itself, but till now it has not been fully ready. This pre -fab structure is also being made. Piku is being constructed from Rs 2 crore 62 lakh in Sadar Hospital. Electricity, equipment etc. have also to be arranged for the agency concerned. Along with this, the process of construction of Pediatric incentive Care Unit (Piku) is going on in 15 CHCs of the district. Piku of 20-20 beds will be made at all places, although there was also talk of reducing the beds somewhere due to lack of space. It is known that the need for a 13 -meter plot for the construction of 20 -bed Piku in Sadar Hospital was said to be required, then the number of beds has been increased. It may be known that in 2021, the Health Department had announced in this regard. On October 4, 2021, when the BMSICL team inspected the site of Sadar Hospital, 10 beds were said to be PICU. SNCU facility is currently available in Sadar Hospital, it was established in 2016.
