Demand for attendance from biometric in schools

Bhaskar News | Shivhar

Teacher Nyaya Morcha has demanded a biometric machine to register the presence of teachers. Along with this, there is also a demand to improve the time period of school operations. State General Secretary of Morcha Abhay Kumar Singh said that from June 25, the presence of teachers has been directed to register on the e-education fund portal. However, due to lack of mobile networks in most schools in the state, attendance is not being recorded. On the other hand, instructions are being given to postpone the salary of teachers who do not register attendance on the portal, which is not appropriate. He said that it is not possible to register a smooth presence on the e-education fund portal. This system does not seem to be successful. Many teachers do not even have smartphones. In such a situation, if the government wants to enter the attendance of teachers online, then biometric machines should be installed in all schools as soon as possible.
