Diarrhea prevention campaign will start from July 1

Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu and the Diarrhea Prevention Campaign will start from July 1 under the guidance of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Awadhesh Panigrahi. This campaign will be organized under the coordination of Panchayat, School Education, Women and Child Development, Public Health Engineering and Urban Administration Department under the leadership of Health Department. Between July 1 and August 31, the health department working in rural areas will train the parents for use during diarrhea by providing ORS packets and zinc tablets in homes with five -year -old children through the plains, Anganwadi workers and Mitanins. .

At the same time, water sources will be cleaned around the drinking water sources with the help of other associate departments. Along with displaying technical hand washing between schools, Anganwadi centers and community, the campaign will be widely publicized, stating the method of making ORS solution if needed during emergency. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Awadhesh Panigrahi said that diarrhea is a major cause of death among children from birth to 5 years. For its effective control, this campaign through this campaign will be told to the community for this disease and prevention measures. Doctors and health workers working in the district have been instructed to treat patients according to treatment protocol to prevent diarrhea.
