DM Archana Verma of Hathras will be transferred: Ashish Kumar will be the new District Magistrate, 2015 batch IAS officer

Archana Verma, District Magistrate of Hathras has been transferred by the rule. Archana Verma has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary Medical. Here, Ashish Kumar, VC of Saharanpur Development Authority, has been made the new District Magistrate of Hathras district.

Archana Verma took charge as District Magistrate here in November 2022. During his tenure, he held the civic elections in the year 2023 and then the Lok Sabha elections held this year peacefully. It was only after the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections that there was a discussion that there may be transfer of administrative officials in the district. Amidst these discussions, the District Magistrate has been transferred today.

IAS of the year 2015 batch is Ashish, now in Hathras, the government has deployed Ashish Kumar as District Magistrate. Ashish Kumar is the IAS of the year 2015 batch. He is still posted as VC of Saharanpur Development Authority. It is believed that in the next one or two days, the new District Magistrate will come here and take charge.
