Elderly death due to e-rickshaw overturning in Bangarmau: was returning home from Lucknow with medicine, accident occurred on Kalwari-Mahmadabad road

The e-rickshaw railway near the Green Hotel on Hardoi-Unnao route in Unnao overturned from the railway under pass. Amar Singh Katiyar (65), a resident of Habatpur in Bangarmau Kotwali area, was undergoing treatment from PGI in Lucknow. He went to take his medicine on Saturday. Where daughter was coming back with Purnima. Then he landed on the Bangarmau cut of the Agra Lucknow Expressway and walk on foot and reached near the Green Hotel on Hardoi Unnao Marg. From where Kalwari was coming home by riding in an e-rickshaw. Then the e-rickshaw railway overturned due to the pit in the under pass. Amar Singh was seriously injured by being pressed under the ply board and other items laden on the rickshaw. Family members took him to the hospital in Lucknow. Where there was no improvement in his condition, the doctors responded. The family took him back home at around 5 pm on Sunday evening, after which he died some time. As soon as the news of the death was received, there was a scream among the family members.

Police arrived late night on sending postmortem, the police sent the body for postmortem. The deceased used to nurture the family by farming. He has 7 daughters in the family besides his wife. Daughter Radha, Roli, Nisha, Ruchi are married. While Beti Purnima, Harshita, Sonakshi are unmarried. Bangarmau Kotwali in -charge Rajkumar has told that the incident has been reported. The body has been sent postmortem te. Action is being taken by filing a report against the e-rickshaw driver.
