Shop owner Nitish told- This shop was started in 1956 by my grandfather Prakash Chandra Arora. He came to the city of Bareilly in India after partition from Pakistan’s Hafsabad province. There he tried to employ, but did not succeed. Then reached Lucknow in search of employment from Bareilly. He came here and started selling Kulfi. At that time there were not such narrow streets in Aminabad. Used to set up a market here. In such a situation, he started selling Kulfi by sitting on the ground in a park located here for livelihood. In such a situation, he started making it and selling it here in the same traditional and indigenous manner. Making kulfi in the morning and selling from noon to evening. Then used to buy milk at night. Used to boil the milk on a coal cigar. Due to which there was a lot of fragrance in its test. Gradually, the taste of Kulfi started to like.
