Gonda district has recorded another record under the efficient leadership of Gonda District Magistrate Neha Sharma. Gonda has made his place in the list of top 10 districts of the state by doing successful work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Gonda has been ranked 6th.

A special program was organized in Lucknow by the State Urban Development Agency (Suda) on Tuesday on the 9th anniversary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Here Director Suda Dr. Anil Kumar honored Project Officer, Duda Gonda Sanjay Mishra and CLTC Rohit Jaiswal by providing citation and memento for this outstanding work. Goes

Let us know that the main objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-urban is to provide firm houses to all eligible urban families. Under this scheme, people of Economically Weaker Class (EWS), Low Income Group LIG, Middle Income GroupMIG-I and Middle Income Group MIG-II are helped to buy or build houses.

At the same time, Project Officer, Duda Gonda Sanjay Mishra informed that 5790 houses are approved for urban poor in Gonda. In this, the work of 5250 housing has been completed. All others except just one in the remaining 540 are in progress. The third installment of many selected beneficiaries has also been released.
