There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the entire state in Jharkhand today. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in 13 districts including Deoghar, Dumka, Godda. The weather is likely to remain the same on July 3. Among them are Sahibganj, Pakur, Jamtara, Giridih, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh area. Many parts of the state including Ranchi received heavy rains on Sunday evening. This led to a decrease in temperature by 9 degrees.

Ranchi received only three mm of rain in the urban area on Sunday. Whereas, Kanke received 18.4 mm in the last 24 hours, 23.6 in Ormanjhi, 35.2 in Mandar and 15.5 mm in Khalari. The temperature of the city has also been recorded.
