Inspection of Kalazar affected village was followed by patients and followed

Central and state level team in the district inspected the villages of Kalazar affected Kotwa block on Thursday. The team on the tour included NPO, Dr. Shahwar Kazmi from WHO, Dr. Madhuri Devraju, Vikas Sinha, district epidemic officer Dr. Rahul Raj, BDCO Dharmendra Kumar. During this time, the team gave important instructions while inspecting the spraying works along with following the patients of Kalazar in Kotwa.

Dr. Madhuri Devraju informed that anti -Kala -azar drug is being sprayed in 23 blocks of the district. 4 blocks of the district have been freed. He appealed to the district dwellers to get IRS sprayed properly in the houses, so that the infected child could be abolished. Assistance is given to the patients as a labor compensation. BDCO Dharmendra Kumar said that Kalazar infected patients are also provided assistance by the government.
