Kerala Congress apologized on the disputed post: Pope-Modi wrote on the meeting- finally Christian religious leader met God

Christian religious leaders Pope Francis and PM Modi met on 14 June of the G-7 meeting in Italy. Posting its picture, Kerala Congress wrote on Sunday (June 16)- finally the Pope met God. The Kerala Congress had taunted Modi’s statement ‘God has sent me for special mission’.

BJP described the post of Kerala Congress as an insult to PM and Pope. As the protest increased, the Kerala Congress on Sunday deleted the post and apologized. Kerala Congress issued a statement saying- We did not want to hurt the sentiments of the Christian community. However, the Congress is not hesitant by the criticism of PM.
