Married woman murdered in Bagaha, outraged NH-727 jam: Husband and Bhasur accused of murder, absconding in-laws’ house

A married woman was strangled to death late Sunday evening in Patkhauli Ward-2 of Bagaha. The deceased has been identified as Rani Kumari, wife of Rajan Ram, a resident of Patkhauli. After the murder, the in -laws left home and escaped.

The people of the locality became angry as soon as the murder was reported. Angry neighbors protested and deposited the NH-727. This disrupted traffic for 1 hour. The Patkhauli police reached the spot and explained the local people and removed the jam. The body has been sent to the subdivision hospital for postmortem. He is under interrogation. Local people allege that Rani’s husband Rajan Ram and his Bhasur Raju Ram have murdered him together. There is a lot of resentment among the local people about the incident.

it is being told that Raju Ram has killed his wife earlier. This further increased the anger of the people. The police is investigating the case intensively. Efforts are on to arrest the accused.
