Medical camps for children in slums: Measures to avoid diseases, free distribution of ORS and medicines

A free medical camp was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and OC Foundation on Monday in slums located in UIT Sector 2 of Bhiwadi. The purpose of this camp was to provide medical facilities to the people living in the slums. During the camp, about 125 patients were examined by sugar and BP as well as necessary medicines on the spot. Along with this, ORS packets and medicines were also distributed.

This medical camp was part of the “open air class” program of the Oshi Foundation, in which children and families living in slums and families were education and Health facilities are provided. In this camp, the people of the community were made aware of the solution of their diseases and provided them free medical assistance.

During this time local social workers and members of the organization took part in the medical camp. During this, VHP Block President Devendra Yadav, District Relations Head Giriraj Prasad Gupta, District cum Matri Shakti Convenor Devki Tanwar, Vice President Rajesh Yadav, Minister Sachin Rai and Oshi Foundation Director Vivek Sharma, Seema Shankar Singh were present.
