Now three new criminal laws came into force in the country. Indian Code 2023, Indian Civil Protection Code-2023 and Indian Evidence Act-2023 came into force. The police will now compile the FIR, investigation and evidence under these three new laws. The cases filed under the three new laws will be tried in the court. Earlier, the IPC, CRPC and the Indian Evidence Act were applicable in the country. After 12 o’clock on June 30, that is, if any crime happens at 12.15 pm on the night of July 1, a new law will be applicable in that case. Now Section 103 will be taken on the murder of someone. Earlier there used to be 302. 303 (1) in theft, 309 in murder attempt, 318 in forgery, 64 in rape incident, 308 in extortion, 80 sections for dowry murder.
