Bharti alias Kiran, a domestic help in Bindapur of Dwarka district, has been arrested on charges of theft worth lakhs. He had stolen gold and silver jewelery and Rs 3.80 lakh by making copies of the house keys in the absence of his family. Police caught him from Janakpuri through CCTV footage and technical surveillance. The accused has confessed to the theft to buy a flat for his daughter's future.
An employee of Punjab National Bank in Bulandshahr has been accused of fraud of more than Rs 23 lakh in the name of loan.
