Preparation to provide facilities: Government will give subsidy of 40 crores if private universities opened from 100 crores; Proposal will come in the cabinet to give concession

The state government is preparing to provide facilities to private universities of MP like industries. The government intends that private universities should also be established in cities like Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna, Rewa and Morena like Bhopal and Indore. The government has also held a meeting of officers under the chairmanship of Cabin

after this, under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Veera Rana, in which ACS of Energy and Higher Education including ACS, Principal Secretary of Finance, Commercial Taxes and Revenue Department, and Secretary of MSME Department was present. Opinion has been sought from the MSME department how concession can be given to private universities to be established in MP. This proposal has been sent to the committee of senior secretaries for testing.

Proposal to provide these facilities to private university- Capital subsidy 40 percent. That is, if the total expenditure is Rs 100 crore, then the government will give a subsidy of Rs 40 crore in it.- 25 percent interest grant on the expenditure on building, land and machinery.- 2 to 3 percent concession on electricity. On investing Rs 10 crore, a grant of up to 10 percent is proposed to be given up to seven years.

No concession is not yet, because the government has not income from private university There is no provision of concession. The reason is that the government has income from industries, but the government does not have any income from private universities. Now this proposal has been prepared to bring the university to small cities. It is being told that 10 universities are going to open soon in MP, out of which the work of 6 documents has been completed. There are currently 41 private universities in MP. Out of a total of 68 universities, 24 are under the state government.
