Punjab government to restore old pension and deducted allowances soon: GTU

The state unit of Government Teachers Union Punjab was chaired by State President Sukhwinder Singh Chahal and State General Secretary Gurvinder Singh Sasqaur. Giving information about the meeting, State Press Secretary Karnail Phillaur and Assistant Press Secretary Ganesh Bhagat said that it was decided in the meeting that if the Punjab government does not restore the old pension of old age of millions of working class and many allowances cut by the previous government till then till then till then till then Punjab Teacher Government Teachers Union will fight all possible struggle under the banner of Punjab, which will be responsible for the Punjab government.

State President Sukhwinder Chahal said that in the last assembly elections, the current government has won more than 92 seats than expected. The meeting of Punjab has played a big role, but perhaps later Bhagwant Maan Sarkar became a victim of misunderstanding. Due to this, during the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the current government had to raise a lot of embarrassment because it was the struggle of the employees that the government expecting to win 13 seats could win only three seats. He said that computer teachers have a very important role in the current education structure, but the only demand of these teachers is to merge in the education department, which is being ignored by the government.

General Secretary Gurvinder Singh Sasqaur The Education Minister demanded the promotion of teachers of all categories and transfers in a transparent manner on priority basis so that all schools in Punjab can get principals/heads and students of all subjects. In the organization’s State Finance Secretary Principal Amandeep Sharma demanded from the education officials that the grant of 2023-24 which the department had suddenly withdrawn, should be issued to schools soon so that the teachers can get back the money spent from the pocket. In the meeting, many serious issues of the teacher class were discussed in the meeting and the demands of the teachers were given to higher officials as the agenda. On this occasion, State Committee members Ravinder Pappi, Balwinder Bhutto, Rajiv Handa, Jaswinder Samana, Sucha Singh Turpai, Manpreet Singh Mohali, Jagjit Mann, Pritpal Singh Chautala, Sanjeev Dhoot, Vikas Sharma, Surjit Singh Mohali, Gurmel Singh Kurdia, Amarjeet Singh Fatehgarh Many teacher leaders including Sahib, Bhupinder Singh Ferozepur, Nishan Singh were involved.
