Patna | The road roller kept in the Central Mechanical Workshop of the Road Construction Department is 100 old. In 1930, the city roads were made from this steam roller. It was built by John Founder & Co., Leeds of England, established in 1850. It was assigned to Patna Museum during the Navnirman of Patna Collectorate. The roller was the property of the District Board. He donated it. But the museum was careless. A few months ago, the Road Construction Department took it to the Central Mechanical Workshop, where placed on a high platform. Two such rollers in the country are in the Heritage Transport Museum in Gurugram. One is 1914 and the other is 1950.
