Shocking revelations have been revealed in fake registration of trains in the country and investigation of NOC case. On the basis of fake train numbers of Nagaland and Arunachal, more than one thousand vehicles were registered in Raipur, Raigad and Durg. Its file is disappeared from RTO

It clearly states that the trains coming from Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh have been registered in Raipur, Durg and Raigad RTO-DTO without valid and compulsory documents. The number has also been issued to those vehicles. In the audit, CAG inspectors have found the files of registration of vehicles missing. These files are between 2017 to January 2024.

CAG wrote that it is serious financial irregularity. A letter has been written to the government and the transport department. Despite this, the department has not conducted an investigation till date. Neither the culprits were taken action. However, police of several cities including Raipur, Durg, Raigad have registered a case. Action has been taken against the people associated with the gang. The accused had also mentioned the names of the North-East states.

137 files disappear from Raigad RTO

According to CAG Audit Report, between November 2018 to February 2022, District Transport Office Raigad and Arunachal and 140 trains in Nagaland were re-registration. In these, no file has been found except 3 vehicles.

According to the CAG (Audit Officer, Raigad writes to DTO.)- It seems that the files have been removed by any office concert officer. It involves the working officer. 33 vehicles were registered without ID proof, insurance policy document and original RC. Tata Motors verified that 123 vehicles are not of their companies, because their chassis number is not in the company’s record.

CAG According to the re-registration of 424 trains between September 2020 and September 2022 in Durg RTO. Of these, 265 vehicles have come from Arunachal and 159 Nagaland. Most of them were from Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. Whom the RTO gave NOC in one day. They were given the TC series number, which is given to the dealers. Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland have found only 31 chassis numbers in 424.

The silence of the Transport Department on complaints, why?

After the revelations of Bhaskar, the victims are now coming forward. The person resident of Raipur sent a complaint letter to Bhaskar, which he sent to the Additional Transport Commissioner, Regional Transport Officer Raipur in March. The department did not investigate this complaint in March.
