Sut mill workers will agitate: indefinite hunger strike after rally on June 20, mill is closed since 8 December

Jawaharlal Nehru Cooperative Sot Mill of Khargone has been closed since last 8 December 2023. Employees are not getting work nor salary. Employees are becoming financially broken. It is becoming difficult to run a household.

On Monday, employees decided to intensify the movement by meeting at the vegetable market park. Employees will take out a symbolic rally on Thursday, 20 June. The yarn mill staff will make the district administration management aware of the trouble.

After that there will be indefinite dharna and hunger strike in the collectorate. Employees have already made the agitation to the Deputy Commissioner, Labor Department and District Administration about the situation. But the mill has been shut down and made them unemployed.

ignoring the administration management, will take refuge in the Labor Court I have about 500 employees, now their families are surrounded by financial crisis. There is no way to come to the employees.

There is difficulty in arranging children’s fees and medicines for the sick. The mill management does not look much serious about the employees. If mill management and administration do not take any decision regarding mill operations, then you will also take shelter of labor court.
