Three liquor laden bikes seized, smuggler caught

Amba | The police of Amba police station have called three liquor laden bikes near Sada Mor in the police station area. The police have also arrested a businessman. While two other businessmen escaped leaving the liquor laden bike. On the basis of secret information, the said action was taken by PSI Dinesh Kumar on Sunday night. Caught liquor smuggler Narendra Paswan hails from Sada village of Kutumba police station area. Police chief Rahul Raj said that the police had received secret information that the bike riders were going to enter the police station area via alternative routes by taking consignment of liquor from Jharkhand. On the basis of information, intensive vehicle check operation was carried out at NH 139 near the border. During this time, the drivers of three bikes coming from Hariharganj turned the direction of the bike and started running towards Jharkhand. The soldiers chased and caught a bike -riding businessman, while the drivers of two bikes escaped leaving the liquor laden bike, taking advantage of the darkness.
