According to railway sources, after successful testing of electric engine on Sangaldan to Reasi route, the first train will operate on this route on 30 June. All construction works under the Rail Link Project are almost complete. The construction of tunnel number 1 is slightly left. As soon as the USBRL project is completed, another step will be completed towards connecting the Indian Railways Kashmir Valley with the rest of the railway netkar. It was written that the train service will start soon on the world’s highest railway bridge between Ramban’s Sangaldan. Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link Project will be completed by the end of this year.
