Two members of the gang arrested for ransom by threatening businessman in Barnala arrested

Barnala | Barnala police have arrested 2 members of the ransom gang running from Canada. In Barnala, a ransom of 1.5 crore was sought from the businessman working as boots. He and his family were threatened with death for not giving it. The police conducted a secret operation In this, a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore was sought from them and threatened to harm the family for not giving ransom. The family informed the police about this.

Police registered a case in this regard and initiated action. Police formed separate teams and started investigating the case and conducted a secret control operation. Under this, the victim merchant continued the talks of the accused seeking ransom. In this, it was decided to give Rs 50 lakh to the accused party.

After this, the merchant was sent to the accused with a bag full of fake and some real notes under the Gupta Mission of CIA Staff and Thana City Barnala. Under this action, the police arrested two accused from the spot. Vishaljit Sharma alias Vicky resident Raikot and Paramjit Singh Happy resident Ludhiana have been arrested.

Police have named two more accused during this investigation. This call for ransom was made by Ramnagar Chhanna (Sangrur) and Manjinder Singh Didargarh (Sangrur) from Canada. He said that during the investigation, it was found that the accused Manjinder Singh used to work at the businessman’s boot shop before going to Canada, due to which he knew about the businessman’s family and business. They were making threatening messages and calls from Canada. He said that NOC will also be issued for the arrest of the accused living in Canada.
