Women protested against dumping of OB in the pond in Kankani Nichla Dhauda of Dhanbad. They stopped OB transporting for two hours, causing long queues of vehicles. The women allege that due to filling of the pond and closure of the natural drain, the area will be submerged during the rainy season. The matter calmed down after assurance from the officials, but the Colliery PO said that OB dumping would continue in the pond.
