A painful road accident took place in Sundernagar police station area of Jamshedpur on Sunday. The speeding bike went out of control and collided with the dumper. In this horrific collision, the bike driver died on the spot, while the youth sitting behind was seriously injured and was referred to MGM Hospital. Police sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating.

There was a sensation when the dead body of 65 year old Shanti Devi was found on the roadside in Bhatoli village of Chainpur police station area of Gumla. The family members have expressed fear of murder on suspicion of witchcraft. The son-in-law and daughter-in-law have expressed suspicion on three youths of the village. The police sent the body for post-mortem and on the basis of the allegations, detained the three suspects and started questioning them.
