Mountains Of Garbage Poison Delhi's Water, More Than 30% Population Forced To Drink 'slow Poison' For Decades
Delhi's Okhla, Ghazipur and Bhalswa landfill sites are poisoning groundwater, leaving nearly 30% of the population without clean water. The levels of TDS, calcium, sulphate and magnesium in the water are many times higher than the standards. People are suffering from skin diseases and stomach problems, and depend on buying water or tankers for drinking.
