Recognition Of Thousands Of Private Schools In Haryana May Be Cancelled: Allegation Of RTE Violation, Directorate Of Education Warned

Haryana Education Department had imposed fine on 1970 private schools for not admitting poor children under RTE and not uploading documents. Most of the schools did not pay the fine. Now the Directorate of Basic Education has warned of cancellation of recognition if payment is not made by February 17. School operators are protesting against the fine, accusing the department of not providing information and calling it injustice.
