New road being built from Sandesh to Koilwar in Bhojpur.
Dialogue thread, Koilwar(Ara). Ara News: Traffic on Sakdi-Nasriganj Highway will become easier in the coming times. People will get the facility of uninterrupted transportation.
Actually, under the Chief Minister Sulabh Sampark Path Yojana, a road is being constructed on the canal dam from Sandesh via Akhagaon to Koilwar.
Road construction work is going on at a rapid pace on this 18.57 km long dam towards Sandesh and Koilwar. It is expected that its construction will be completed soon.
The construction of this road will greatly facilitate transportation. There will be less vehicular pressure on the Sakdi-Nasriganj Highway and small four-wheelers will get relief from jams.
A day earlier on Thursday, attention was drawn to the jam in SP Raj's Janata Darbar in Koilwar police station premises.
SP asked to consider this seriously. He said that concrete construction work is going on at Koilwar-Akhagaon-Sandesh Dam.
Only small vehicles will be allowed entry on it. There will be no entry for heavy vehicles and tractors laden with sand. Regarding this, a proposal will be given to the DM and District Mining Officer to install a barrier on this route.
The site will be selected for where the barrier will be installed. The SP also said that a proposal will also be sent for widening the road on the Sakdi-Nasriganj Highway up to Sahar, so that there can be relief from the jam on the said highway in the future.
The villagers also proposed to install a barrier on the Sakdi to Jamalpur link road to stop heavy vehicles and trucks laden with sand. SP said that measures are being taken to improve the traffic system.
