A heated argument broke out between BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia and AAP MLA Anil Jha, who came to take stock of waterlogging in Sharma Colony of Kirari. During the confrontation near Hanuman Temple, the MLA questioned the MP about waterlogging, which escalated the dispute. Supporters of both the leaders raised slogans, after which the police had to intervene. The MP assured to solve the problem.

A consortium of four institutions led by Pune-based ARAI will prepare a new emissions inventory and source assessment study for Delhi-NCR. Delhi has recorded a reduction in PM10 levels by 16% from 2021-22 to 2024-25, below the target of 22 under the National Clean Air Program NCAP. PM10 has reduced from 241 to 203 micrograms per cubic meter from the base year of 2017-18. NCAP aims to reduce vehicular, dust and industrial pollution. According to the central government, air quality has improved in 103 cities, and several efforts are underway to reduce PM10 in Delhi.
Air Quality Management Commission CAQM told the Supreme Court that the main cause of air pollution in Delhi-NCR is vehicular emissions. The Commission has recommended 15 long-term measures to improve the deteriorating air quality index AQI. These measures include phasing out polluting vehicles, expanding public transportation and promoting electric vehicles.

Delhi government is preparing to give free cooking gas cylinders to women of economically weaker section EWS on Holi. The cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta approved this proposal. EWS women holding ration cards will get free cylinders on Holi and Diwali, while other needy people will get subsidized cylinders for Rs 500. About Rs 300 crore will be spent on this scheme, the objective of which is to provide relief from inflation.
