Six friends returning from a wedding ceremony died in a road accident in Dausa, Rajasthan. His speeding car crossed the divider and collided with the trailer. Meanwhile, in another accident in Sriganganagar, a speeding car hit a patrolling police vehicle, due to which a woman police inspector Ratan lost his life and two policemen were injured. A total of seven people died.

Police have recovered more than 9,550 kg of ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials from a field in Harsaur village of Nagaur. Farm owner Suleman Khan, who was supplying explosives to illegal miners, has been arrested.
