Game To Woo Voters Before Voting, 19 Washing Machines Seized In Pimpri Chinchwad

Ahead of the municipal elections to be held on January 15, 19 washing machines have been seized in Maharashtra's Pimpri Chinchwad in efforts to woo voters. The election flying squad has also received complaints about distribution of silver utensils and cash distribution in Pune. A case has been registered at Kalewadi police station. Even a few hours before voting, candidates are adopting new ways to influence voters.

Mumbai Police Broke The Back Of Drug Smugglers, Seized Narcotics Worth Rs 814 Crore.

This year, Mumbai Police has taken major action against drug smugglers from 1 January 2025 to 21 December 2025. Police seized narcotics worth more than Rs 814 crore, including more than 275 kg of MD codeword 'Anti'. 376 smugglers and 5,242 drug users were arrested. Other drugs like cocaine, ganja, heroin were also recovered, which has broken the back of the drug mafia.
