Neighbor murdered on suspicion of illicit relationship and body thrown in ditch

Jagran correspondent, Udaipur. Suspicion of love affair and illicit relations took the life of a young man in Kokapur village of Sagwada police station area of ​​Dungarpur district. The neighboring youth allegedly killed the youth on suspicion of having illicit relations with his sister-in-law and threw the body in a roadside ditch.

Two days after the incident, on Sunday, the accused himself reached the police station and surrendered and informed about the incident. The police have detained the accused and started investigation.

SHO Manish Khoiwal of Sagwada police station said that Dinesh Patidar, a resident of Kokapur, reached the police station on Sunday morning and told the police that he had murdered his neighbor youth Tilesh Patidar. The accused told that he had thrown the body in a roadside ditch in Kali Ghati.

The accused was angry with his sister-in-law's illicit relationship.

During police interrogation, the accused, explaining the reason for the murder, said that there was an illicit relationship between Tilesh and his sister-in-law, due to which he was angry. Due to this, he murdered the young man on 6th February.

After the statement of the accused, the police team reached the spot and recovered the body from the ditch. The body was identified as Tilesh Patidar. On receiving the information the family members also reached the spot. The FSL team collected evidence at the incident site. After this, the body has been kept in the mortuary of Sagwara Hospital for post-mortem. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly.
