Acid attack on 14 year old girl in Rajasthan (symbolic photo)
Digital Desk, New Delhi. A surprising incident has come to light from Rajasthan. Here a 14 year old girl was attacked with acid by a young man. Along with plotting the attack, the 19-year-old youth also made complete planning to escape.
This 14 year old girl had gone to a wedding, where a 19 year old young man had come to do photography. The girl refused to talk to the young man, so the photographer attacked the girl with acid. The girl's clothes and one finger were burnt in this attack.
Acid attack on 14 year old girl
During police investigation, it was revealed that 19-year-old accused Omprakash, alias Jani, told that he had seen the girl at a wedding, where he had gone to work as a photographer. When Omprakash later tried to talk to the girl, he was scolded. After this he decided to take revenge.
The 14-year-old girl, who studies in class 9, was on her way to school when Omprakash threw an acid bottle at her, burning her clothes and one of her fingers.

Omprakash had conspired to save himself from arrest, which failed. When Omprakash attacked the girl, she covered her face with clothes and helmet and also hid the number plate of the bike.
Police placed a reward of Rs 25,000 on Omprakash for his capture. Om Prakash was arrested on Monday, January 19. The police paraded the accused throughout the market to create fear of law among the public and prevent such incidents. Action is ongoing in this matter.
