Delhi Weather: Delhi's Weather Will Change From Tomorrow, Strong Winds Will Blow With Rain; Will Winter Return Again?

State Bureau, New Delhi. A western disturbance will also affect the capital. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will change in the capital on Wednesday. It will be cloudy since morning. There will be light rain at many places in the morning. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in the afternoon. Winds will also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. The temperature has been increasing for the last several days. The minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 12.4 degrees Celsius. This is 1.4 degrees Celsius above normal and 2.3 degrees Celsius more than Monday. The maximum temperature was 30.9 degrees Celsius. This is 0.7 degrees Celsius less than yesterday, but 6.5 degrees Celsius more than normal.

A slight drop in temperature is expected due to rain on Wednesday. Meteorologists say that the winds are weak right now and a Western Disturbance will be active on Wednesday, which will bring change in the weather. The temperature will increase again from Thursday. After this, the weather is expected to change again on Sunday and Monday and the sky will remain cloudy.

Air remains in poor category

The air quality remained in the poor category (below 300) on Tuesday, but it improved slightly as compared to Monday. On Monday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was 261 and on Tuesday it fell to 249.

According to the SAMEER app of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), at 9 pm, nine out of 38 operational pollution monitoring stations recorded AQI above 300, i.e. in the very poor category. Whereas, 15 recorded air quality in poor category and 14 in moderate category. Pollution is expected to reduce on Wednesday due to the wind.
