Pollution remains in bad category
At the same time, the people of the capital are still not getting respite from polluted air. Pollution levels have again increased due to weak wind speed and the air remains in the 'poor' category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's AQI on Sunday was 216, which falls in the 'poor' category.
At this level the level of pollutant particles is almost double the normal, which is having adverse effects on health. Due to less wind and stable weather, pollution is not able to spread. People are being advised to wear masks and go out less.
