Jagran correspondent, Gurugram. Retired Sub Inspector of Haryana Police died under suspicious circumstances. His body was found in Kamla Nehru Park on Gurudwara Road on Saturday evening. The city police station handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem on Sunday. Prima facie the case is being said to be a heart attack. However, this information could not be clarified in the post-mortem. Bisra has been sent to the lab for testing.
The deceased has been identified as 80-year-old Bhagwat Swaroop, originally a resident of Mokhara village in Rohtak. It is said that Bhagwat Swarup was living in Gadauli Khurd village of Gurugram. He was retired from the post of Sub Inspector in Haryana Police. City police station said that some people who came for a walk in the park on Saturday evening saw him lying in an unconscious state and informed the police. He was declared dead by the doctors in the hospital.
The police station said that the cause of death was not clear in the post-mortem. However, the family members have not given any complaint. The viscera has been sent to the lab for testing.
