The conditions at the Community Health Center have once again exposed the laziness and negligence of the Health Department. As the cold increases, the punctuality habits of doctors and health workers have become lax, due to which patients are directly suffering the consequences.

When Jagran's team reached CHC under the On the Spot campaign at around 9 am on Wednesday morning, the hospital arrangements were found to be in a shambles. By 9:30 am the OPD was completely empty. Neither doctors nor departmental personnel were present.

The situation in the dental department also remained similar. Only doctors deployed in emergency were found on duty. Medicine counters and registration counters were also opened late than scheduled, due to which patients had to wait in frustration.

The worst condition was that of the investigation room. By 9:30 am, patients who had come for X-ray and other tests were standing in line, but neither any technician nor doctor was present.

Many patients including Rahul Kumar, resident of Rajon, Subodh Yadav of Nawada told that doctors and testing personnel usually come here only after 10 o'clock. This situation has become a daily occurrence.

This negligence in punctuality in extreme cold is further increasing the problems of the patients. Said that despite clear instructions given by the District Magistrate, discipline and punctuality in CHC has not improved. Due to this, anger is increasing among the patients.
